AgenticArch Linux

AgenticArch Linux is the successor to the world's first agentic Linux distribution, AgenticCore Linux. While still in alpha and experimental, it serves as a more practical and user-friendly proof of concept, better suited for personal use and daily driving than its predecessor.

A Distribution for Everyone

Designed for developers, power users, and anyone who wants to experience the cutting edge of operating systems. AgenticArch combines the stability of Arch Linux with the power of AI agents.

Unlike its predecessor, AgenticCore, or Arch Linux itself, you don't need to know about Linux to install or use AgenticArch.

Key Features

🚀

Fast & Lightweight

Even though it's not as lightweight as AgenticCore, we are trying to keep it as "debloated" as possible. This makes it fast and responsive for daily use.

🤖

Multiple AI Agents

Comes with multiple specialized agents for different purposes, each designed to handle specific tasks efficiently.

🖥

Clean Interface

Current default version comes with XFCE4, which makes it light, clean, and user-friendly while maintaining performance.

Meet the Agents

💻

USB Agent

Just plug an USB drive in - AgenticArch asks you to open USB Agent which you can use to manage your files on your device easily!

📂

File Agent

Just right-click any file in file manager and choose "Open Agent here" option to open File Agent there, which does tasks specifically for that path.

🧭

Main Agent

With the Full Agent Mode, dangerous command confirmation, language options and more, main agent does it all for you. Just press Super+A and use it!

Notes

⦿ AgenticArch is currently here thanks to Arch Linux community and Yusuf Yıldırım. (13 years-old :)

⦿ Just like AgenticCore, AgenticArch is currently Alpha, so we give no warranty since it's not stable and only a proof-of-concept.

⦿ Unlike AgenticCore, AgenticArch both supports Legacy mode and UEFI, so you can give it a try on any computer :)

⦿ AgenticArch is not "installable" just for now, we are working on it. Currently you can only test and use it in live-boot.

⦿ We are not responsible for any damage to your devices or file loss. Even though it's nearly impossible, you shouldn't trust AI that much, nor the AgenticArch.

How Agents Work?

We use system prompts to let Gemini give responses in a special format.

Different agents use different system prompts to work for their purposes. Agent programs powered by Python extract the JSON response from AI, to description, special inputs (any customizable factor in commands, like folder name), and the command itself to execute.

Plans for Local Version

We care about your privacy. Even though only data being sent to Google's Gemini servers are your prompts, so your data is secure and private, you may need to run any model you want locally as well, just like in AgenticCore.

So we are working on Local agents option. Only problems are:

⦿ If you choose small models, like sizes about 0.5B, models sometimes don't "care" about system prompts, so they return with invalid formats. We are planning to fine-tune our models, specifically for AgenticArch JSON format!

⦿ Since this is Alpha release, Agent programs are not perfect yet. We are planning to improve them before releasing the Local version.
